ROBERT C. HUBBARD, IV
Senior Consultant & Chief Operating Officer Mr. Hubbard is the Chief Operating Officer for Gray & Company, where he is accountable for strategic, tactical, and operations management decisions that enable the firmÕs products and services to be delivered in the most effective and efficient manner possible. With 12 years of institutional investment experience, he also serves as a Senior Consultant to several of the firm's institutional clients.
Prior to joining Gray & Company, he served as the Pension Administrator for Washtenaw County Government in Ann Arbor, MI. During this time, he was responsible for the administration of the County's Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, VEBA, and 457 Deferred Compensation retirement plans. He started his career at MGT of America in Tallahassee, FL where he worked on management consulting projects for state and local governments, and institutions of higher education.
He received his B.S. from Furman University, and his M.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He is an active member of the Michigan Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems (MAPERS). He has also completed the Pension Funds and Investment Management Program through the Wharton School of Business. He is currently a Level I Candidate for the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
